It was an inspiring and memorable experience to attend the Puducherry Aari Workers Event as the General Secretary of the Karnataka Aari Workers Council and National Executive Director of the Pro Aari Olympiad.

The event brought together hundreds of talented Aari artists from across the region, each showcasing their creativity, patience, and craftsmanship. It was truly a proud moment to witness their passion and commitment toward preserving and promoting our rich Aari embroidery tradition.
As part of the Pro Aari Olympiad, our vision is to empower women artisans, create global recognition for Aari work, and encourage more individuals to pursue this beautiful craft professionally. Meeting these dedicated artists in Puducherry reaffirmed my belief that Aari work is not just embroidery — it’s an expression of culture, creativity, and empowerment. 🌺
