A Proud Milestone in My Journey – Honoured at the First World Fashion Summit, Malaysia

Fashion and traditional art have always been close to my heart, especially the beautiful craft of Aari Embroidery. Today, I feel proud and grateful to share one of the most memorable achievements in my journey.

I, N. Keerthana, had the honour of visiting Malaysia as a special guest for the prestigious First World Fashion Summit in the field of Aari Embroidery. Being part of an international platform that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural artistry was truly an unforgettable experience.

The summit brought together talented designers, embroidery artists, fashion professionals, and creative minds from different parts of the world. It was an inspiring opportunity to showcase the beauty and richness of traditional Indian Aari embroidery on a global stage. Meeting passionate artists and sharing knowledge about embroidery techniques, fashion trends, and handmade artistry made the event even more meaningful.

One of the proudest moments of my life during this event was receiving an Honorary Doctorate Award in recognition of my dedication, contribution, and achievements in the field of Aari Embroidery and fashion artistry. This recognition is not just an award for me, but also a motivation to continue promoting traditional embroidery art and empowering more aspiring artists in this field.

This achievement reflects years of hard work, creativity, passion, and continuous learning. I sincerely thank everyone who supported and encouraged me throughout this journey — my mentors, students, family, friends, and well-wishers.

I believe traditional art forms like Aari embroidery carry the cultural identity of our heritage, and it is our responsibility to preserve and promote them for future generations.

This recognition has inspired me to work even harder, create more innovative designs, and continue contributing to the world of fashion and embroidery with dedication and passion.
